Day 01: – Bagdogra Airport to Phuentsholing
We will receive you on your arrival and drive to Phuentsholing. Check in at the Hotel. Dinner
& Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
Day 02: – Phuentsholing to Thimphu
After breakfast check out from hotel & proceed to complete entry / permit formalities and
then drive to Thimphu (Alt 8979Ft / 2736M) the modern capital town of Bhutan. Check in at the
Hotel. If time permits, visit the local market & Centenary Farmers Market & return to the hotel.
Free Evening for leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 03: – Full Day city tour of Thimphu.
After Breakfast proceed towards the sightseeing of Thimphu. Visit Tashichhodzong, BBS
Tower, Government Run Handicraft Emporium, National Memorial Chorten, Buddha View Point,
Folk heritage, National Textile Museums,National Institute of Traditional Medicine (outside view)
and Zoo. Free Evening Overnight at Thimphu.
Day 04: – Thimphu to Punakha
After breakfast, drive to Punakha / Wangdue, On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.).
to view the higher Himalayas. Arrival at Punakha check in at hotel. After noon visit Punakha Dzong –
built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it
served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang
(Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and KingJigme Dorji
Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952. After that, a short and easy hike to
visit the Chhimi Lhakhang – The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama
Drukpa Kuenley, “The Divine MadMan”. Evening free for leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay at
Punakha.
Day 05: – Punakha to Ha
After Breakfast will proceed to Haa in route will visit the Chele-La Pass. In Haa, will visit
the Ha Valley & some sightseeing and then going to katsho. Traditional untouched Bhutan Village
village and visiting the Katso Lhakhang. Then in route we will also visit the Lhakhang karpo,
Lhakhang Nagpo, Trout Farm, Wangchuk lo dzong, Rigsum Gonpa (If Time Permits). Dinner &
Overnight stay in Ha.
Day 06: – Ha to Paro & Full day city tour of Paro
After Lunch we will proceed towards sightseeing in Paro. Visit the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong,
18 km. from Paro town on the north side of the valley, Also visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest
and most sacred shrines of the kingdom. Dinner & Overnight at Paro.
Day 07: – Paro Full Day Sightseeing & proceed to Phuentsholing
Early morning after breakfast visit Tiger Nest. After breakfast we will start our return journey
to Phuentsholing Hotel drop. Overnight Stay at Phuentsholing.
Day 08: – Phuentsholing – Bagdogra Drop
Early morning after breakfast we will start our return journey to Bagdogra Airport.
